Where do you land for Brands Hatch?

Helicopter charter to Brands Hatch uses the airfields nearest the circuit. London Biggin Hill Airport is a business aviation airport with a 1,806 metre runway, weekday hours of 06:30 to 23:00 and weekend hours of 08:00 to 22:00, and a full-service handling operation. Rochester Airport, in the Medway towns, has grass runways and is open 08:30 to 17:30. We do not hold a landing site at the circuit, and we never promise one; any landing nearer than the airfields would need the owner's permission and a suitable site.

Charter-A Helicopter is the helicopter charter service of Charter-A Ltd, which has arranged private flights across the UK and Europe since 2011. From the airfield, a car completes the journey. See helicopter charter Biggin Hill and helicopter charter Kent.

Helicopter figures are typical block times: distance at 135 knots plus 8 minutes, shown as a range. Road figures are free-flowing road times, a floor that real journeys rarely beat. Distances are in a straight line. Figures from our UK route data, checked 29 Sep 2026.

Times from London and Gatwick

Biggin Hill to central London is about 10 to 15 minutes by helicopter against at least 47 minutes by road; to Epsom 10 to 15 against 45; to Gatwick about 15 against 45; to Heathrow 15 to 20 against 1 hour 10. From Rochester, London is about 20 minutes against 1 hour 8. These figures come from our route data, and the road times are free-flowing floors that race-day traffic will exceed.

For a Battersea start see Battersea and London helicopter transfers. For the east Kent side see Southend.

Race days and track days

Brands Hatch holds national race meetings, club events and track days through the season. Tickets, paddock passes and hospitality come from the circuit; we arrange the flight. Corporate groups use a race day for client hospitality, often combined with a morning of meetings in London. Our race circuit page and Silverstone page explain how motorsport days work.

Plan a margin on the way back: the roads around the circuit can be slow after a meeting, and Biggin Hill's evening hours allow a generous window.

Planning notes

Arrive 10 minutes before departure, supply weights and keep bags soft. Biggin Hill requires prior permission and handling for larger aircraft. If the flight is cancelled because of the weather, you pay nothing.

Executive Global Travel can arrange cars. See the South East England page for the wider picture.
