How do we land you at Newbury?

Helicopter charter to Newbury is planned case by case, because the course does not publish a helipad.

Newbury is one of the courses where we plan the landing case by case. The racecourse's published fixtures do not mention a helipad, so we do not claim one. For your date we ask the racecourse whether it can accept a helicopter, and the answer decides whether you land at or near the course. If it cannot, we land at a nearby airfield or heliport and a car takes you the last stretch.

Every landing is subject to landing permission and site suitability. We tell you the site, the transfer time and the latest return before you commit, and we do not promise a landing we have not agreed.

Which Newbury day suits a corporate party?

Newbury runs a different mix of days from the festival meetings, which suits smaller client parties.

• Lockinge Weekend, Friday 14 and Saturday 15 May 2027: the Saturday is the Lockinge with Ladies Day, one of the best Flat days of the spring.
• Dubai Duty Free International, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 September 2027: a major autumn Flat weekend.
• Coral Gold Cup Day, Saturday 27 November 2027: a major day of the winter jump season, with Long Distance Hurdle Day the day before.
• Flat Finale, Friday 22 and Saturday 23 October 2027: the end of the Flat season.

Racing is also held on summer evenings, which suits an after-work client party. Winter days are short, so in November we plan the return carefully around daylight, as we do for Cheltenham. Check the fixture list with the racecourse before you book, as fixtures can change.
